A desk review, observations of and interviews with caretakers of children under 2 years of age revealed three behaviours that put babies most at risk for stunting. The three identified and most impactful behaviours in the target group in Ethiopia were that the caretaker washes their hands before feeding the baby, washes the dishes and bottles before feeding the baby with them, and feeds the baby diverse nutrition. Behaviour change campaigns were designed to address these behaviours and a policy brief was created.
