The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine connected experts from all over the world and from many disciplines to support research and provide informative resources. We were happy and grateful to be involved in various capacities.
One of the tasks we fulfilled was to evaluate Wateraid’s rapid response behaviour change in eight of the countries where they were already working with communities beforehand. The aim of these mid-term assessments was to find out what the ongoing work was already achieving and where and how efforts could be strengthened. Targeted behaviours were hand washing, hygiene in the household like wiping surfaces, WaSH, and mask wearing. Reports and workshops served to inform everyone involved about the findings and to consolidate Covid prevention in general.
