schools within short time. Being highly contextualized already Ranas4HCFs and Ranas4Schools toolkits
enable users to implement evidence-based and data-driven behaviour change interventions without
much additional effort. They are currently available for promoting handwashing with soap in HCFs in
Burkina Faso and Mali, separation of waste in HCFs in Mali and handwashing with soap in schools in
Nigeria and Palestine.

COVID-19 Response in Tongogara Refugee Camp
Tongogara refugee camp, located in the south-east of Zimbabwe, hosts approximately 14.000 refugees predominantly from the Democratic Republic of Congo. In collaboration with UNHCR and World Vision with funding from SDC, RANAS Ltd. realized a pilot project to improve COVID-19 prevention behaviours in the camp. The project was implemented from March 2020 until March 2021.

8 country rapid assessment of Covid-19 behaviour change
In the beginning of 2021, WaterAid collected data about context and behavioural factors and behaviours from 8 countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Nepal, Tanzania, Pakistan, Zambia, Nigeria and Rwanda. In collaboration with the Covid-19 Hygiene Hub and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), this data was analysed and recommendations developed. In April 2021, analysis was finalized and workshops implemented.
