In collaboration with SFE Laos and SME Suisse, Ranas investigates contraception use and behavioural factors in Laos. The project started in June 2025 with a baseline data collection among villagers, married men and women between 16 and 60 years old. Two separate analyses will investigate factors influencing contraception use by women (different types) and condom use by men. Accordingly, two separate campaigns, addressing men and women, will be developed. The campaign is planned to run for at least 6 months, followed by an evaluation around late 2026.
