For Solidar Suisse, we provided the questionnaire and analyzed the data for three behaviours: toilet use, safe drinking water and storage. Local collaborators of Solidar Suisse conducted the qualitative and quantitative surveys and implemented the behavior change activities that we developed on the basis of the results.
For improving toilet use, the activities focused on changing the factors feelings of privacy and pleasure, and the norm factors, as well as the commitment and remembering to use the toilet.
Behavior change activities for the transport of drinking water tackled the factors liking, other’s approval, and confidence in performance.
For safe water storage, the activities tried to change mainly the norm factors, like the opinion of important others, the approval of others, and the personal importance of storing the drinking water safely.
