Menstrual hygiene management is a key component in many hygiene promotion projects. Various behaviors might be changed: i) improper hygienic handling (using unhygienic pads, etc.); ii) school absenteeism; iii) constrained talking about menstrual hygiene; and others.
Each of these behaviors has different drivers and barriers which can be explored, measured, and then used to develop effective interventions.
