The Compendium of Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies is the third volume in the “Emergency WASH Compendium” series. It complements the existing compendia on sanitation and water supply technologies in emergencies, focusing on the third key element of the WASH triad—Hygiene Promotion. Ranas contributed to the development of several chapters complementing the tools, methods, and approaches for designing and implementing effective Hygiene Promotion interventions. Serving as both a capacity-building resource and a reference guide, the Compendium supports planning, implementation, and decision-making for targeted Hygiene Promotion interventions.
